Everybody is now in France talking cinema and is/would like to be in Cannes for the 60th anniversary of the Festival.

Work forced me to stay in Paris, so I have been in need of some cinema’s stories to watch. And look what I have found :

Here are some new photos. They’re from a test with Parisian photographer Isshogai.

The model is Darya, and she is just marvelous to work with. and she’s gorgeous. have you seen her eyes ? waow.We went for a “no makeup look” and we had great fun all of us shooting that day. Thanks Isshogaï for that very pro but very nice shooting.

As usual, the first sunny days arrive and then you look for that nice little top you adore and those so little shoes who have been forgotten at the bottom of the wardrobe for months.

As for me, most of the times, i then get a huge desire to get ride of old things and get new clothes as well as new habits to manage better my precious time. Why telling you all that ?

Michael Gregorio is a astonishing show man. Not only does he imitate a lot of singers very faithfully, he also give the audience emotion and laughter with him re-writing some lyrics.

It’s a real performance and a moment of pure joy for anyone who loves music and wit. Piaf, La Callas, Pavarotti to name a few should be listed in the menu of this young and great impersonator…

I have just finished a great short-film, organised by Trouville Off-courts film festival.

Christian Laurence, a young and talented director from Québec, has been selected to come and shoot in Trouville a short film, with French actors and crew. It was great fun, though we had with long working days and cold weather.

I look forward to show you some screenshots, sure you will agree that the black and white work of Genevieve Perron, the director of Photography, is awsome. We had a lot of fun with the actors and i have seen a impressiv demo of improvisation and acting, for they had little time to prepare the film with the director beforehand.
You need to wait the very end of August to discover Lionel Astier, Serge Dupire, Geneviève Pier, Emmanuelle Bataille, Armand Cadet, Eric Fouchet & Philippe Jouan in the film L’astronaute at Off-courts festival. special thanks to the staff of the Festival, for their energy and warm welcome.

Some more explications about airbrush. It’s a gun who spray make-up thanks to air.
Result : make-up is put very finely and evenly on skin, either with a sheer look or a full coverage to hide any dark circles or flaws. Even in High-definition, the make-up is barely noticeable, and talents usually forget it as soon as it has been applied. Plus : application is quicker.
I am now working with the Temptu S/B range .

Launching of my blog. You will find here my news and some infos about things i like and want to share.
So, the news : besides some corporate films shot, the important info is i’ve put myself into airbrush make-up. I have taken a workshop with Sylvia Pilcher, who has used it for 15years. she’s great ! and Airbrush ? waow, i just love it. It’s so thin on skin, yet very correctiv. So you can do what you want without being heavy handed on foundation. It’s soooooo great filming in HD… Hope to be able to show you images soon.
